The software runs in a Java enabled browser and takes advantage of existing corporate wired and wireless networks. The interface is designed to be a simple but powerful tool for shop floor personnel and managers to interact in real-time with the Predator SFC Suite and the shop floor.

| Looking for a configurable big button interface? If you are in need of simplicity on the shop floor Predator MDC Connect is your solution. With a push of one button a CNC program can be loaded, scrap can be recorded, downtime can be entered, or an e-mail can be sent. Buttons can be defined for particular tasks, a big button keyboard can be used to send information, or an oversized browse window can be displayed to select files. A button can even be set to launch another application.

| MDC Connect can also be used with Predator DNC Remote Request to load CNC programs. A button can be set to load the next program defined in the DNC schedule. Other options are also to have a button launch the touch screen keyboard and the operator can type the name of the program and have it sent to the CNC. A third option is to have a button be set to browser a local or a network directory and have the operator select the program to download.

Need a simply interface but do not want to sacrifice the power of the leading shop floor control suite? Don't let the simple interface fool you. MDC Connect can access all the functionality of Predator MDC and Predator DNC. All the powerfully features are still available such as sending an e-mail to the maintenance or quality department, entering the quantity of good parts, entering scrap with scrap codes, and entering machine downtime with downtime codes. The administrator designs a screen determining the amount of groups and the quantity of buttons within each group.

Do your requirements change?
Using the MDC Connect designer the administrator can define the quantity, the layout, the size, the color, the icons, and the functionality of the buttons. Create an unlimited amount of screens, release and unrelease screens from the shop floor, and copy existing screens to save time. The MDC Connect designer puts you in control.
Want to use existing hardware? The MDC Connect client software is a Java enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla. MDC Connect can run directly on Microsoft Windows Embedded controllers so an additional PC at the workstation is not required. Other
operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS are also supported. Total cost of ownership can be minimized by using thin clients or mobile devices.
